History

In the summer of 1992, six Centre County real estate professionals joined together—partly by plan and partly by fate—to create for themselves and others the “ideal” office. After investigating the RE/MAX concept, they realized that RE/MAX International not only provided the best products and services for agents, but was an outstanding organization with a genuine emphasis on quality and service for clients.

The franchise was purchased in August of 1992, and the office opened just four months later on December 10. RE/MAX Centre Realty is committed to providing service of uncompromising quality in the listing and selling of real estate. Our adherence to the highest ethical standards in the performance of our obligations to clients, and our relationships with other brokers and agents, set us apart in Centre County.

Credentials

At RE/MAX Centre Realty, 30% of our agents hold the Graduate Realtors Institute (GRI) designation, 36% hold the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation, 62% hold the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation, and 19% hold the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation.

In addition, 19% of our agents are Associate Brokers and 2% hold the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation, 2% hold the Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB), 4% hold the NAR's Green Designation (GREEN), 2% hold the At Home With Diversity (AHWD) designation, 15% hold the e-PRO designation, 4% hold the Sellers Representation Specialist (SRS) designation, 4% hold the Accredited Seller Representative designation, 6% hold the Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDFE) designation, and 2% hold the Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialists designation.
